Ritual

In Ayurveda cleansing and massaging with oils are seen as essential ritualistic practices to be approached with reverence as a means to help nurture body, mind and spirit.

For a sleep supporting bathing ritual, pour a capful of oil under warm running water and allow to disperse. Breathe deeply and soak for approx. 15 minutes - long enough that your body has time to absorb the oils and their healing benefits.

Alternatively, apply to the skin before entering a shower and then wash as normal - the oil will leave a whisper light scent on your skin and deeply nourish while you sleep.
