Here we share one of our favourite recipes of the day.
Ayurvedic Dal Khichadi
Ayurvedic Dal Khichadi
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
4 C Khichadi Base
4 Tbsps Ghee
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
1/4 Tsp Heeng, asafoetida
1 Tbsp Ginger, chopped
1/2 Tsp Green Chili Pepper, chopped
Salt to Taste
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper, freshly crushed
1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
Asian Vegetable Stock (as Required)
Omega Seeds for Garnish
4 Tbsps Ghee
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
1/4 Tsp Heeng, asafoetida
1 Tbsp Ginger, chopped
1/2 Tsp Green Chili Pepper, chopped
Salt to Taste
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper, freshly crushed
1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
Asian Vegetable Stock (as Required)
Omega Seeds for Garnish
Instructions:
Heat ghee in a pan.
Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Mix heeng in 1 tsp water and add to the pan.
Add chopped ginger and green chilies and cook for few
seconds.
Add turmeric powder and cook for few more seconds.
Now add khichadi base, little vegetable stock, salt and let the
khichadi cook on slow flame till everything comes together
as a homogenous mixture.
Add black pepper towrads last.
Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.

Add chopped ginger and green chilies and cook for few
seconds.
Add turmeric powder and cook for few more seconds.
Now add khichadi base, little vegetable stock, salt and let the
