The first time you light your essential oil aromatherapy candle, leave it to burn for 2hrs or at least long enough for the top layer of wax to melt fully, leaving a clear liquid pool. This creates a natural pattern for subsequent burns and minimises a tunnelling effect.

Our slow-burning pure essential oil candle can be enjoyed even longer if the wick is regularly trimmed to 5mm, re-centered, any black soot pinched off the tip and the glass vessel is covered.

Light your aromatherapy candle for between 2-4hrs at a time, remembering to rotate regularly to ensure directional air does not cause an uneven burn.
